If you've never attended one of our week of revival meetings, you might not know what an Irish Concert is. We use this special night as a decidedly evangelistic tool. In a normal week, we hold the Irish Concert on Friday night, the last evening of our week. The service consists of an hour-long music portion, where the team normally does 10 songs. After the music, Bro. Steve gives a very simple yet powerful presentation of the Gospel. He uses PowerPoint as a means to make the message clearer and more visual to those who do not normally attend church.
Overall the night gives the people of the church an opportunity to invite their unsaved friend and family to the service. The invite to a "concert" presents less pressure and is more likely to receive a "yes" than a normal evening service. We praise the Lord for how he has used the Irish Concert in the past few years!
