We began the new year with our first-ever meeting at the Calvary Baptist Church of Fruitland Park, Florida. Pastor Robert Mullis started this work 48 years ago at the ripe-old age of 24. He and his dear wife, Norma, have labored in the area all these years, I was originally contacted by the youth pastor, Ken Dembeck, who has been serving in the church for two decades. We had a wonderful week of fellowship with these dear servants.

The weather was unseasonably cold during the first half of the week. It finally warmed up and we saw God do a special work. The attendance was outstanding during the week. There was an unusual outreach among the teens with over 30 trusting Christ as their Savior. The last two nights were larger than the Sunday morning attendance. There seemed to be a touch of revival during the week as decisions were made among God’s people.

Please pray for these dear people. They have a faithful, Gospel-preaching church in central Florida standing true to God’s Word
